Valerie Lopez is Cision’s Vice President of Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). In her role, Valerie drives the first formal DEI function at Cision to help fulfill the company’s core values and business goals of supporting its inclusive and diverse community.
Valerie joined Cision in 2000 and has held various leadership roles throughout her career. She is a Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) through the Society for Diversity and holds bachelor’s degrees in broadcast journalism and gender studies from Indiana University Bloomington. Valerie holds memberships with the National Diversity Council, the Illinois Diversity Council, the Society for Diversity and the National Association of Asian American Professionals.
