Tenisha is currently a Sr. HR Leader for the Talent Acquisition, Diversity & Development group (TADD) at Discover Financial Services, a global leader in the financial services industry.
During her more than 19 years of human resources and recruitment experience, Tenisha has worked at leading companies such as Discover Financial Services, Career Education Corporation, Allstate, CNA Insurance, U.S. Cellular, and Cricket Communications.
Tenisha’s expertise includes recruitment, diversity, talent & performance management, training, organizational development, and leadership/management coaching.As the world becomes increasingly diverse, developing a more sophisticated understanding of diverse talent and the various challenges that interfere with hiring, retaining and engaging diverse professionals becomes more critical.Tenisha is passionate about helping businesses make the most of their talent resources and helping individuals make the most of their job search. In addition to her accomplishments in human resources and recruitment, Tenisha has also provided career transition services for more than five years, through one-on-one coaching, group workshops and educational seminars at colleges, universities and nonprofit organizations.
Tenisha is an alum of Wichita State University where she obtained a dual degree in Business Administration and Management with minors in Finance & Economics.
