Michelle M. Warner is Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for USG Corporation. She also serves as a member of the Executive Committee, providing strategic counsel for the business at large. Warner has nearly 25 years of extensive corporate legal experience, and most recently served as deputy general counsel and corporate secretary for Motorola Solutions, Inc., which she joined in 1997. She has a strong background in leading significant transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and equity investments, as well as securities and corporate governance.
Warner began her legal career with McDermott, Will & Emery and Holleb & Coff. She received her juris doctor degree from the Northwestern University School of Law and her undergraduate degree in Economics from Denison University.
Warner is an active community supporter. She serves on the Board of Directors for Logan Square Preservation, and is a member of the President’s Council of the Museum of Science and Industry. She also serves on the Midwest Advisory Council with Denison University.
