Gen Alpha & Z; A Wealth of Knowledge

In the mist of the global pandemic and over the past two years; college students, recent graduates (Gen Alpha) and young emerging professionals (Gen Z) have been the recipients of extraordinary opportunities and unprecedented challenges. This Generational Wealth of Knowledge was cultivated within educational institution seats, community streets and corporate suites. All the while navigating lived experiences of racial inequities, unrest, social injustice and a climate of isolation, trauma and strained mental well-being. Yet, Gen Alpha and Gen Z’s, have shown resiliency and resolve as they embark upon milestones in beginning their personal journeys and professional careers.
Welcome to the 6th annual College & Young Professionals Diversity Summit hosted by the Illinois Diversity Council. This offering has established a proven delivery of a knowledge transfer for essential diversity, equity and inclusion aptitude not taught in traditional college curriculum, an acclimation for the socio-emotional skills necessary to thrive, a safe space to cascade the culturally nuanced voices of Gen Alpha and Gen Z’s and finally, to serve as a bridge between emergent talent and recruiters for top corporations with a demonstrated commitment to workplace belonging where everyone is welcomed, respected, valued and heard.
Who Should Attend? • College Students • Recent Graduates • Young Emerging Professionals • Academic & Business Leaders • Campus Recruiters, HR & Talent Acquisition • Educational Associations
