A Blueprint for Allyship Activism

Amidst our current climate of social unrest, televised murders of people of color and exacerbated racial injustices, our collective efforts is an imperative to combat discrimination of any kind. There has been an outpouring of allyship and activism from Americans of all dimensions of diversity with the common thread of creating a more diverse, equitable and inclusive world. In this impactful and interactive session, Director Kevin Murphy of The Kaleidoscope Group will give participants a blueprint for being intentional in standing in their role as Allies with expertise and authority. Topics in this Boot Camp will center on: The Degrees of Allyship, Modeling Inclusion, Recognizing Privilege, Understanding Workplace Barriers, Respectfully Challenging, and Case Studies of Modern Allyship. Participants will walk away with a renewed mindset and tangible tools for skillful engagement. We welcome allies of all levels to heighten their aptitude by arming themselves with the tools needed to show up and create sustainable advocacy.
