Mike Fisher

Michael Fisher of Chicago has served as vice president of Workforce Development and Community Relations for COUNTRY Financial since November 2010.

Fisher joined COUNTRY in 2007 as the director of new market development in Chicago. His most recent position was as District 1 Director of Agencies. He has 29 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining COUNTRY, he served 25 years at Harris Bank as south suburban market president, vice president of commercial lending and regional operations manager.

An active community member, Fisher serves on numerous boards, and currently serves on the boards of Children’s Home & Aid Society, the Center for Economic Progress and the Lincoln College Board of Trustees. He is a member of the Harlan High School Hall of Fame, 100 Black Men of Chicago and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.

Fisher has serves as an adjunct professor at Robert Morris College in Chicago. He has also lectured in entrepreneurship studies at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bradley University, Peoria, Ill., and a master’s degree in business administration in finance from DePaul University, Chicago.
