Jim Floyd is the V.P. & General Manager for McOpCo-Central Division. In his role, he is responsible for operating over 600 company owned restaurants that employ over 36,000 employees. This billion dollar enterprise spans over 16 states and serves over a million customers per day. His focus on sustainable profitable growth drives those index measures reported to Wall Street on company performance.

Jim has been with McDonald’s for 23 years and has held numerous positions within the company that include Technology, Real Estate Development, Strategy, liaison to Sr. Management and Operations Director roles in both the U.S. and International/Global Operations for Asia Pacific/Middle East & Africa, Europe, Latin America and Canada.

Jim received his Engineering degree from the University of Illinois-Champaign and was employed with IBM and Procter & Gamble prior to McDonald’s.

Jim is the recipient of many awards that demonstrate his leadership: Team Awards, Risk Awards, Profit Awards, International Circle of Excellence Award and the prestigious McDonald’s Presidents Award, which recognizes the Top 1% of its company employees.

Jim is married to Pamela Floyd, MD, MPH, and they have two children Sydney and Grant.
